For what it's worth, my friends and family treat me like a cultural pariah because I despise The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Elvis. My idea of good music runs the gamut. It includes The Sex Pistols, Simon & Garfunkel, Blondie, Hank Williams Sr., The Dead Milkmen, Boston, Metallica, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Otis Day, Prince, Roger Miller, The Dropkick Murphys, The Dubliners, Arlo Guthrie, Billy Joel, Duran Duran, Pantera, The Go-Gos,. and pretty much anything EXCEPT The Beatles! In fact, I've discovered literally the ONLY way to identify the best music or other art form ever created, a discovery that's right 100% of the time. And that is....whatever I happen to like at the time the question is being asked.
