This is the first time I've heard this story. However, I swore I'd never fly Aeroflot after I heard the story of the Aeroflot captain who let his pre-adolescent kids take turns behind the controls on what should've been a routine overnight flight. It ended exactly how you'd expect a jet being flown by children to end--with no survivors. So thanks for bringing this to my attention, and giving me yet another reason to swear off Aeroflot in favor of a professionally-run airline.
